Whether you are a new user or an experienced user, this FAQ will provide you with answers to common questions about Application Maps.

Why Application Maps Matter

Why are application maps useful to spray drone operators?

Growers and retailers expect to see complete application data for their fields.

Growers (and neighbors) may require you to verify your application work to ensure efficacy or address drift concerns. Application maps prove where you flew.

How AcreConnect® Maps Stand Out

What makes application maps in AcreConnect® different from what DJI Smart Farm shows me?

AcreConnect® shows not only flight path, but also as covered, together with all of the product applied information. It is also the only software to create application maps for both DJI and XAG drones that can be easily shared. With AcreConnect®, you can share both as a PDF or through integrations with popular farm management systems like John Deere Operations Center™ and Climate FieldView™.

In addition, AcreConnect® software is made in the USA, and all data is stored in our secure U.S. servers.

Required Information

What information do I need to make an application map?

You’ll need the KML flight log from the application. AcreConnect® makes it easy to upload and securely store these KML flight logs, then use them to create application maps. For additional details, you can also attach the Product Usage Report.

Creating As Applied Maps

How can I generate an As Applied Map?

Currently, only DJI drones linked to AcreConnect’s Agras account have the pump data required to generate an As Applied Map. If you have a DJI drone and want to learn more, click HERE.
