Whether you are a new user or an experienced user, this FAQ will provide you with answers to common questions about AcreConnect®.


AcreConnect® Accounts & Access

Do I have to buy a drone to get AcreConnect® software?

No, you do not. Anyone can easily sign up for a free trial account, and AcreConnect® is available for purchase on its own as a yearly subscription.

How do I sign up for a free account?

You can easily sign up for a free account at https://app.acreconnect.io/signup. You’ll need to provide your name, phone number, email address, create a password, and accept the terms. You will then receive a verification email to verify your account. Click here for more details on how to create your AcreConnect® account.

What do I get in the 7-day free trial? Why is that important?

Once you create a free account, your 7-day trial will automatically begin. This gives you time to try out the features, which are designed to help you manage your spray season. Use AcreConnect® software to manage your spray season – from job creation and flight log management to distribution of application maps, billing and FAA reporting.

The free trial gives you access to all the features except for team member assignments. You can find out more about the features by viewing the Knowledge Center or by using the in-app chat bot. Simply type the feature you wish to see, to be directed to the step-by-step.

Starting your trial before the season gives you a chance to learn about AcreConnect® before you get too busy. Use our in-app onboarding tour and online chat bot during your trial to find how to articles and videos or connect to our Customer Success team and learn how AcreConnect® can be used for your business.

After your trial is over, you will still have access to any records you created during the trial, and your flight logs will also be securely stored and accessible in your free account.

What is the value of a free account?

A free account gives you the ability securely store your flight logs across multiple drones, including both DJI and XAG drones. You can also access the AcreConnect® knowledge center, how-to videos and customer support through the in-app chat bot icon located in the bottom right corner of the app.

Compatible Drones & Features

What drones work with AcreConnect®?

All features work with both DJI and XAG drones including work order creation, product usage reports, log file upload and management, application maps, job estimator (formally invoice assistant), team invites and organization assignment, connection to John Deere Operations Center™, Climate FieldView™ and QuickBooks® online, and monthly FAA reporting.

Can I share application maps from AcreConnect®? What systems work with AcreConnect™?

Yes, you can use AcreConnect® to easily share application maps from both DJI and XAG drones. You can create a downloadable PDF or connect to John Deere Operations Center™ or Climate FieldView™ to share application maps. This lets you or your customers build a comprehensive view of field management.

Why should I store my log files with AcreConnect®?

If you use multiple drones, or drones from different manufacturers, like DJI or XAG, it can be difficult to keep track of where your logs are. When these Chinese manufacturers change their servers, your data can be lost.

Uploading flight logs to AcreConnect® stores your data on U.S.-based servers for future use.

Storing your log files in AcreConnect® also makes them easily available for use with features such as application maps and FAA monthly compliance reporting.

Purchasing & Pricing

How do I buy AcreConnect® today?

To purchase the software, log in to your AcreConnect® account and go to "My Account." Under "Subscriptions," click "Manage Subscriptions." From there, you’ll be redirected to our payment partner, Stripe, where you can adjust the number of seats you need and securely complete your payment.

How much does AcreConnect® cost?

We understand that every dollar counts when it comes to your business. That’s why AcreConnect® is priced to pay for itself quickly.

AcreConnect® software is priced according to the number of pilots in your operation. Subscriptions start at $74.99 per user per month on a flexible month-to-month plan, or you can choose to pay $650 per user annually when paid up front. There are no tiered discounts.

As your business grows and you add more pilots, you can easily add additional seats to ensure everyone has access to the tools they need to get the job done without missing a beat.

Technical Details & Security

Does AcreConnect® work on my mobile device?

Yes, AcreConnect® was designed to leverage browser-based technologies that allows you to leverage the platform on your phone, tablet or on desktop computer.

Is my data secure?

Yes, your data is secured and protected on U.S.-based servers leveraging cloud security best practices.

Does AcreConnect® require data connectivity to work?

Yes, at this time you must have connectivity to use AcreConnect® software.

Do I have to share my Agras account information to use AcreConnect® software?

No, you can use AcreConnect® without sharing your account information.
