Spray drone operators can now simplify the task of compiling a monthly report for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). As required by the Part 137 license, all operators with drones over 55 pounds must submit a report.

Before You Start, download your flight information from DJI’s Agras Management Platform or XAG’s One Management Platform.

If you haven’t already entered your organization’s information, now is a great time to do so. Once added, each FAA Report can automatically populate these details, making report creation much easier. This information only needs to be entered once.

On the top menu bar, click on "FAA Reports."

Select the “Create FAA Report” button.

A pop-up will appear prompting you to select the month and year for the FAA Report. After making your selection, click Create FAA Report.

Verify that your company's FAA information is correct. These details are pulled from your organization profile.

If any information is incorrect, update it as needed. Once verified, select "Continue" to proceed to the next page.

Select the aircraft(s) you are reporting on. This list of aircraft(s) is populated from the aircraft(s) that have been assigned to the organization. To update or add an aircraft in your organization, view the article Adding Your Aircraft to Your Organization. Click "Continue" once you have made your selection.

Confirm the reporting month, then select the drone manufacturer from the dropdown list. Next, browse and choose the correct flight data file you collected earlier, and upload it. Select "Continue" once all files have been uploaded.

Review and update the flight details as needed. Use the dropdown icon on the right to change the assigned pilot or delete a flight record. You can make these updates for any flight in the list.

Save the report when complete. The report can be edited and added to if necessary.

If you need to make changes, locate the report, click the three-dot menu, and select "Edit." This menu also provides the option to delete the report if needed.

Click the three-dot menu and select "Export." The completed file will then download to your computer’s File Explorer.

Check your 44807 exemption to confirm the correct email address for submitting your monthly report. While you can generally send your completed report to the FAA at one of the two addresses listed below, note that some exemptions may specify a different email. Be sure to carefully review your 44807 approval in its entirety to remain aware of all conditions, limitations, and responsibilities. The correct reporting email is listed in Section F: "Reporting Requirement" of your 44807.
