Creating and Managing Sites

Written by Blake Duden

A Site is a saved field or spray location. Once created, sites are reusable across all of your work orders — add them once, select them every time.

Step 1 — Navigate to Sites and Create a New Site

Click "Sites" in the top navigation menu. Then click "New" to open the site creation form.

Step 2 — Find the Location

Use the search bar at the top of the map to find the address where you will spray.

Note: Do not type the address into the fields below the map. Use the search bar only — typing in the fields will not locate the site correctly.

Step 3 — Draw the Field Boundary

Once you've located the correct area on the map, draw the field boundary using the drawing tools.

Note: Drawing a boundary is required. If you don't add a boundary, the site will not appear on the map view in Work Orders.

Step 4 — Save the Site

Give the site a name and click "Save." The site is now stored in your library and available to select on any future work order.

Adding a Site While Creating a Work Order

You can also create a site mid-workflow from the Sites step inside a work order. Before navigating away to create the site, save your work order first — you will not be automatically redirected back. You'll need to return and reopen your saved work order to continue.

Note: If you leave the work order without saving, your work order will not be saved.

Best Practice

Create all your sites before building work orders for the season. This makes site selection fast and keeps your work order workflow uninterrupted.
